Trip To Tbilisi
Youth workers from #ART4HRE headed to Tbilisi. Participants were split into two large groups. One of the groups visited Office of Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia while the second group had a meeting with the representative of Women's Initiatives Supportive Group - non-profit organization focused on the issues of LBT people and women.
Groups had an opportunity to get to know to the missions, goals and activities of these two organizations.
Later, they went to explore how youth in Georgia uses #Street Art as a tool to deliver their messages to the society. #Graffitti may express underlying social and political messages and a whole genre of artistic expression is based upon spray paint graffiti styles. Our participants went to Heroes Square and observed the latest street art works performed by the volunteers of Youth for Peace and Equality.
